About the MS Society
There are 85,000 people in the UK who have multiple sclerosis. A further 50 people are diagnosed every week, most are young women. Who will get MS and how will affect them is impossible to predict but the Society aims to support everyone affected by MS, through projects such as the MS Helpline, MS Nurses, respite care and our ms communities. We also invest in innovative research with the hope of finding more effective treatments for MS.
